This Clever Billboard By Corona Beer Uses Sunlight To Create The Shape Of Their Bottle

Beer brand Corona has come up with a ‘natural’ billboard in Brighton, England, that uses sunlight and shadows to form the shape of its iconic bottle.

The installation consists of a solid yellow board, 6 metres in height, with the Corona beer label in the middle. The foliage on the side consists of a cutout that lets sunlight in, and creates the shape of the bottle between 6:30 – 6:45 pm. The billboard was placed at Brighton’s seafront promenade.

The objective of the campaign is to highlight the use of all-natural ingredients in Corona beer. The tagline on the billboard reads, “Made from the natural world.” The installation was accompanied by a sunset acoustic gig powered by a solar-charged generator, and a bar made from repurposed, wooden pallets.
